FAC 73 - BLUE MONDAY COMMEMORATIVE ANVIL. Cast iron anvil in the shape of Peter Saville's FAC43 logo presented to Peter to commemorate more than 500,000 sales of Blue Monday. Dimensions - 17cm high x 18cm wide x 4.5cm deep. Weighs 6kg.
This was Tony’s idea and he did a great video ‘The making of...’ Slightly sullied by the fact that by then, we knew it was also losing 50p a copy because of the floppy disc cutouts. Tony’s heart was always in the right place and the picture shows us happy, with me in a knitted jumper I got for Christmas. What a song, still feeds me and my family very well. Something that can’t be taken off you.
