A pair of tailored men's white cotton trousers with studded design to pockets and coloured lace-up fly. Owned and by repute stage worn by Freddie Mercury likely c 1982. Provenance: originally offered as a fan club competition prize in 1983, later sold at Philips (26th April 1989, lot #124) and then further sold to our vendor. Includes original Philips lot tag. Does not include the two mentioned Fan Club authenticity letters which were not included when our vendor purchased the trousers. Leg length approx 43", waist is approx 14" which is similar to the Freddie Mercury owned and worn leather shorts sold by this auction house in April 2023. Includes a copy of the Philips catalogue.
