A typed note on 'The Magic Christian' stationery and with an original envelope (also with MC print) featuring a charming poem typed by Ringo Starr and bearing a signature by Ringo. Envelope postmarked 29th April 1969. The poem reads
"Dear Gay
you sat down with pen and book
of what i said notes you took
you where tostay (sic) just a while
but you stayed longer cause i liked
your style"
thank you for apleasent (sic) day
Ringo"
The note is addressed to journalist, writer and (later) TV personality Gay Search, who had interviewed Ringo. The lot is accompanied by a signed letter of provenance.
