BRIAN EPSTEIN LETTER REGARDING PETE BEST LEAVING THE BEATLES. A typed letter on NEMS stationary, sent from Brian Epstein to Joe Flannery on 8th September 1962. Signed in blue ink by Brian Epstein. The letter reads (in part) ''I read from the Mersey Beat Pete Best has now joined THE ALL STARS and I though (sic) I'd let you know that I have sent today, to him a certificate of release from his obligations under contract to myself.''. Measures 17.5 x 22.5cm. Provenance: from the family of Joe Flannery.
