The Beatles Auction
ORIGINAL JOHN LENNON / YOKO ONO T-SHIRTS C 1970.
Two original t-shirts - one bearing printed design 'Yoko Ono' and one 'John Lennon'. The t-shirts were designed by John Lennon and were gifted to friends c 1970-1971. Both are size 'M' with 'Made in Europe' labels. John Lennon can be seen wearing an example of the t-shirt at the Cannes festival, 1971 (see images). Both are in very good condition.
Provenance: from the collection of Kevin Harrington, who worked with the Beatles from 1968 - 1970. Kevin worked mostly as a road/equipment manager and was present during the famous 'Get Back' rooftop concert.
