These are the Rolls Royce of pre-amps; valve front end, with two in one separate channels. I would use this every time I played if I could, but you need a separate amp. ;( The American ones are the best because the 110v 50hz softens the sound nicely, but you need a transformer ;( So the 240v are a great compromise for ease of use.
