THE BEATLES - TWIST AND SHOUT - 12" 78RPM ACETATE RECORDING (1963 BBC SWINGIN' SOUND). Wonderful piece of early Beatles history with this 12" 78RPM acetate recording of Twist And Shout - believed to be the recording from the fab four's April 18th 1963 performance at The Royal Albert Hall, London for the BBC's Swingin' Sound '63 broadcast. The acetate (double sided with with an unknown recording labelled 'DBU 158504 Turkish Talk Dur 5' 50') plays at 78RPM on a 12" acetate with a partially torn label to The Beatles side. The acetate is in VG+ condition showing a few light and minor surface marks though nothing heavier and without any deterioration to the lacquer.
