THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (UK STEREO 5TH - PCS 3042 - SUPERB COPY). An incredibly clean early UK fifth stereo pressing of Please Please Me. The record (black/yellow Parlophone label design, PCS 3042, with 'Recording First Published', no 'Sold In UK') is in fantastic Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely faint, slight and wispy paper marks to the playing surfaces and a little 'bubbling' to the label on side 2. Noted interesting 'crossover' pressing with 'double' pressing rim on side 1 and 'single' pressing rim on side 2 (possibly Pye contract pressing, with again unusually side 2 label only showing 'K' tax code opposed to 'KT'). Matrix/mother stampers: YEX 34-1 1 GO & YEX 95-1 1 T. The sleeve (original for this pressing, large stereo, 'left aligned' Angus McBean credit) sleeve is in stunning Ex+ condition showing only a couple of very small and minor 'creases' - the sleeve essentially feeling 'as new'. With clean original Emitex inner. Wicked copy.
