Incredible to uncover original mono UK Apple acetate recording of the 1969 LP from The Iveys who would shortly become Badfinger... We believe this is the first known mono copy to be offered for public sale. Issued with printed Apple Corps Custom Recording '3 Savile Row' labels stating 'The Iveys Side 1. Mono.' and The Iveys Side 2. Mono.' respectively. Noted is the different track listing to that of the final commercial release. Side 1 of the acetate is graded in G+ condition. Showing only a few rather light and minor surface marks, there is some light 'cracking' at the start of the side which the vendor states causes 'some skipping'. Side 2 of the acetate is in glossy VG+ condition showing only a couple of rather light and minor surface marks. With clean, crisp and sharp labels.
