MOTIFFE - MOTIFFE LP (ORIGINAL UK PRESSING - DEROY 777). The fabled eponymous Heavy Prog/Psych masterpiece from the St. Albans sextet, here is the almost impossible to find original LP released by the famed Deroy label (DEROY 777). The record is in well-presented VG condition . There are some light surface/scuff marks to the playing surfaces, though these do not extend deeper to feelable scratches whatsoever. Playback is clear with some light surface noise in the quieter sections - it should be noted that the audio playback on these original copies is never going to sound like a modern recording... A thoroughly enjoyable listen of this completely mesmerising album. There is some light wear to the labels with a small part of the side 1 label peeling a little. Matrix (machine stamped): ADM LP 780 A (A1 DB in the run-out etched) and ADM LP 2 (B1 DB in the run-out etched). The unique hand-made sleeve is in VG+ condition. The illustrations remain sharp and clear with John Grimaldi (who formed the band) having signed the sleeve on the otherwise blank reverse. There is only some light discolouration and a few creases with no rips/tears or splits.
