Fab to uncover original (single sided) Dick James 7" recording of The Silkie's version of You've Got To Hide Your Love Away. The acetate is in VG condition showing a number of surface marks though no heavier scratches. The band were helped by John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison to record a cover version of the song on 9 August 1965 at the IBC Studios at around the same time as The Beatles' own version was released on their album Help! Lennon produced the session, while McCartney contributed guitar and Harrison tambourine.
